Volunteer Administrator Assistant

Description of role and person
Rett UK is looking for a Volunteer Administrator to work in a customer-focused, supportive, charity organisation. Your duties and responsibilities will include general administrative tasks using Microsoft packages such as, Excel and word, taking and transferring incoming calls, provide a full range of effective administrative support to the office manager and fundraising team. We are looking for an individual that is organised, has excellent attention to detail, able to multitask and is an effective communicator over a variety of forums such as, social media, telephone and email.
Role
- General administrative support to the office manager across a variety functions
- Maintain accurate records
- Organise and maintain effective filing systems, both paper-based and electronic
- Deal with office supplies, equipment
- Laminate and scan documents
- Update policies and procedures as required
- Participate in creating leaflets, newsletters, training resources and information
- Administrative support with fundraising events
- Always maintain confidentiality
Desirable Requirements
- Some experience in office administration
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Understanding of disability issues
- Knowledge of the voluntary / Charity sector
