As you may be aware, we have been planning a revamp/relaunch of the regular Beer & Banter online sessions for dads.

We are a small group who meet regularly and we are really keen for other dads to feel they are able to join in too.  The group recognised that perhaps Beer & Banter didn’t reflect the importance of these informal online meet ups, so we have decided we would like the group to be know as ‘Rett Gents’; a title that reflects all the roles that dads and male relatives play in the lives of someone with Rett syndrome.

We will be widening the invitations to include ALL male relatives as we appreciate having a family member with Rett syndrome, which impacts not only the immediate family but also wider members. Siblings, grandparents and friends.

We also recognise that the group has the opportunity to focus on topic-based sessions, with opportunities to meet some of the key professionals involved with your daughters and sons, and some practical tips for day-to-day scenarios too.
